Slin and Carb Connection

heavy only

New member
I'm starting a cycle mid Jan. that includes GH/Slin. For those that have not fully researched this combo, you have to be one dedicated and precise MF for this type of cycle.

I plan to start the slin shots after my work-out. I've already started adjusting my diet so that I am taking carbs in directly after my workout. Kinda doing 'dry run' practice. The carb drink that I plan to use (Carbo Rush by Worldwide) contains 60g of carbs. From my reading I have learned that the rule is to take in 10g of carbs for every 1i.u. of slin. However, I plan to start with a low dose of slin (like 2i.u.) and work up slowly. I am concerned that taking in excess carbs during the time the slin is active may cause fat buildup. I know that post work-out I am glycogen depleted and adding carbs at that time seams to help my short term recovery. So, my question is, should I try to limit my post work-out carb intake acording to the amount of slin I am using?

You would not need 60 grams of carbs for 2 ius of slin. It is normally recommended to take 10 grams of carbs per IU of insulin. I find that sometimes less is needed, it really depends on the individual. I have taken insulin before and have gotten away with only needing around 65-75 grams of carbs for 10 ius of insulin. So it really depends on your tolerance but to be safe I would start out with 10 grams of carbs per iu and then work it from there to see how your body reacts. You are right though in saying that you will get fat if you over eat carbs. So you really have to be on the ball with this.
