Sleeping While On

This is my first post on this forum since 2006, and Ive been doing cycles since 2003, when I was 20. Regardless, I want you guys with experience (not bro science) to answer if it is ok to sleep only roughly 5 hours a night. My job is very demanding,amd between that and the gym and life responsibilities I can't get much more than that, yet, I often hear people saying "if you don't get at least 8-10 hours per night you're wasting gear". Currently running just 500 mg test e/wk X 10 wks.

I want to quickly follow up with this question. I know that 10 hours a night is "optimal", but if you live in the real world, it's not realistic. All I want to know is if 5 hours a night while on gear will "kill my gains"
 
7-8 hours is optimal

5 hours isn't enough sorry. deep sleep is when your body rests, detoxes, and repairs. it also is the time your body insulin and cortisol levels go into the red. if you are trying to cut down fat you will find it impossible if you do not get adequate sleep

you dont get sufficient amount of time to grow only sleeping 5 hours per night... although you will still see gains, you are not maximizing your cycle... which means some gains are left on the table

If you can only do 5 hours a night, try to get in a nap mid-day

What if I get 8 - 10 hours 4 days a week and 5 the other 3? And test is supposed to severely suppress cortisol. Even Ronnie Coleman and Arnold have admitted to only getting 6 hours per night.
