This has been asked a few times but here we go again. At least for me one of the most wonderful sleep aids I've taken is Melatonin. It makes me sleep like when I was 18-20. It will not make you feel sick like drugs and the next day you will not be sleepy. Melatonin improves the quality of sleep. So if you sleep 5 hours, you really deep SLEEP 5 hours with Melatonin. It's natty, OTC. The sides, crazy ass dreams and body tolerance. To avoid the first one, start taking low doses. For example 1 mg 30 mins before going to bed. If no results, try 2 mg the next day and so on. For the second side you should cycle Melatonin, or, use it when you really need it. After about 2 weeks you'll need a higher dose to get the same results. I use it only when I really need a good night, or I cycle it when I'm on.
