sleep seizure

just getting off of my lunesta and obviously didnt sleep all night but there was a point when i began dozing off and my nerves in my brain felt real prickly like i was getting shocked and my breathing nearly stopped, so i had to kick until i came out of the dream. anyone know anything about this? could this have turned into a seizure? i was too afraid to fall asleep.

Interesting. I'm not sure I can give you an explanation for this.

Some people wake up in the middle of REM sleep and are paralyzed when they wake up (this is normal if you awaken during REM sleep from an internal stimulus -- an external stimulus such as a phone ringing usually doesn't do this).

its finally subsided and i think my nervous system is back to normal. it was scary for a while.

google "sleep paralysis" i used to get this a few years ago. when i used to cane a fair bit of class a's at the weekends. my worst was when i got it 4 times in one sunday night after a hefty cocktail on the saturday. i can remember giving up sleeping and reading a book at 4am cos i was to scared to go through it a fifth time
still use now and again, but nowhere near my younger days! and havent had it in at least 2 years..too long ago to remember.

damn i used to get really severe ones .. i think the condition is called sleep apnea or something like that. doesnt happen anymore though

this crap happens to me sometimes when i take meds or sleeping pills,scary shit,but I dont think its dangerous

I get sleep paralysis on and off,sometimes dont have it for months and then seems for no reason it starts up again . It is scarey shit, It may be stress related but I cant say for sure.

I used to get that shit, man it's weird. It's the most intense disassociative feeling. I'm gunnna try to hit a K hole and see if it shares any similiarity

sleeping pills work in weird ways.. i take immovane sometimes and fukin sleep walk on the shit.. make food and all kinds of other weird things
