So, summers over & it's time to start my new journal. I haven't been consistent with it before, but I have a new job now & finally have a schedule :). I will post up all my stats tomorrow. I hope to be consistent with updating stats / pics......so feel free to get on me if I'm slacked.

I want to put on about 5-8 lbs of muscle :). I will be creating a diet & hope to get all of your inputs.

I was gone away last weekend & still feel full :rolleyes: ......so my cals are low (I know I will need to increase them)

OMG I love those things, but the sodiu in them is just crazy!!!

*****Got great news today :) - I am going to Mexico. In my last job we had a warranty comp. My friend & I teamed up - I would do all the paper work & she would present it to the customer. The contest ended Aug 31. I left that job Aug 5, so I thought I would be giving up the trip too. Since I helped her & she has no man, we are going to go together!!!!! It's Oct 12th - 16th. We have meetings every morning, but have the afternoons to do whatever. The resort is Secrets Excellence in Riviera Cancun......looks really nice!!! I don't have any vacation time left, but since it's all for GM they are letting me go :) ******

So, on that note I have 19 days till I leave. I will be picking up the cardio, eating between 1300-1400 cals & I'm going to attempt carb cycling.

It's funny how things always get better. 2005 was a year from hell for me, and in the past 3 weeks things are awesome ;)

I owe a huge thank-you to all of you. Just reading your posts / journals helped me through some tuff times. Love you ladies :), Shadow & Radar

I actually went to Xel-ha a few years ago. Great time & cool snorkeling. Also, great bars.......but it's a bit too 'busy' for me.......lol, small town girl here :rolleyes:

This trip will be rushed (only 4 days) & business, so I won't get to do much.

In April about 10 of us are going. One of my friends teaches scuba there (during our winter months). Somewhere by the Ruins. He just sleeps on a hammock in the great outdoors! Maybe you can help me with some ideas to visit during this trip. Thanks Nikkita :)

Skittles.....glat to see you are logging again. I am just curious to know how well things went o the Shadow plan for ya. Did you get the progress you were looking for or not? I had read the log but it was a little misleading as to the final results. Looks like you were also dealing ith the stress of long work hours. Yuck.

The Shadow plan was awesome while I followed it. I had some personal things come up (I guess it's not a secret, but my dad died & I found out I have endometriosis) & I didn't finish the program :rolleyes:

Anyway, the program is awesome - to see final results you could look to Bunny, and I think Trelin & Habitual Health followed it. To be honest, I believe that quite a few ladies followed it. I'm just on the delayed program I guess.

The Shadow program is/was great because it gives you a foundation to work from. When I'm eating / choosing foods I always think of the program. When I'm in the gym I still follow most of the exercises.

My goal was to be at 16% bf (which is actually were I'm at). So, I guess I reached my goal (although it was a long time coming....lol).

It's safe to say that Shadows program changed many of us ladies :) I would love to have my progress journaled. I'm contemplating doing the program again (in the new year) & tracking weekly progress. If I can keep this journal up, then I should be able to keep that up.

As far as work, my old job blew. Long hours, 7 days a week :worried: . I just started a new job in August & I now have a normal schedule! 9 hours a day, 5 days a week.

Are you / have you followed the program?

I find that I'm more up-tight & ready to go (which is a good thing for me)

Today a girl at work gave her weeks notice. Of course the asked me to 'fill' in. The last few times I agreed to this I got stuck with working 80-90 hours a week. When they asked me today, I said no (which I NEVER would do before) I know this sounds crazy to realte it to the Altyr, but I find I'm a tad snappy (and usually I'm not)

As far as weight loss, I haven't been doing any cardio (I am actually starting this tomorrow, so I'm not a total lard ass in Mexico) I'll let you know how things feel then.

On a side note, I broke out - Not 100% sure what caused this, and not only is it on my face, but on my chest :worried:

You know what, I tend to get snappy when I take 2 T-Rex but man does it sure curb my hunger cravings BIG TIME.

The treadmill/elliptical/'cardio equip of choice' will ALWAYS be waiting for you... a free trip to Mexico away from work, stresses of daily life... will not. Enjoy yourself huney and simple make smart choices... such as Lite beer instead or regular beer... 4 rita's instead of 6... Guac instead of sour cream... stuff like that :)

I've noticed I'm a little more "snippy" than usual (and that's saying alot!) ever since I started taking the T-Rex. Heck, I finally got the nerve to kick my ex out, which is something I never would have done in a million years. Not saying it's related, but makes you wonder... :D

You know, snot running down your face, tears running down your cheeks.....gotta love it :rolleyes: . I cannot figure out way I catch every f&*^(ing bug & I work with lard asses that eat MacDonalds 3xs per day, never take a vit, never workout & smoke like crazy.....but never catch a cold**

I figured that you edited it under your Profile Options "Custom User Title"... a sneaky little mod put it there maybe??

The title will automatically change based on number of posts, time here, etc but since you're Plat you can select a custom user title if you wish. "Freak" is one the the auto titles.......

Yes I think, it is ok to take a break when you aren't feeling well. You need rest, so your body can repair itself and get better :)

It's really good when it's cold. Not so good when it's frozen.

Hope you're feelilng better! So what is your weight usually .... when you do cardio on a regular basis? Just curious? Sorry if you stated that earlier and I missed it.

I'm normally between 130 & 134. Except when I was on the Shadow program I was 126. I wouldn't mind being 140 but leaner though :chomp:
