Skim milk VS Soy milk

it depends on what you mean by better, skim milk has little cholesterol and fat, soy milk promotes estrogen production, but it is good for your heart. its a double edged sword.

skim milk has little fat, soy milk can, depending whether you get a low fat type or not, but the fat in soymilk is not a bad source... it does not promote any 'estrogen production' that is BS to be honest.. don't even bother to argue.. they both contain complete proteins, milk's bioavailability does have a bit better of a bioavailablility, however it does have lactose, but then there is always lactaid... the reason soy milk has additional benefits for heart and bones is due to it's isoflavones which are phytoestrogens, these already exist and are not produced by the human body, these also will not cause gyno, because they don't work like that, you'll never find a case of gyno caused by soy milk.

This topic has been discussed at least 1,000 times and no one ever provides a study proving that statement

Soy bean is ok but tofu and soy milk is a problem. Fermented soy is actually good for your heart (miso, soy sauce, etc).

Japanese wives fed their husbands lots of tofu when they suspected the husbands of having an affair. In ancient Asia, tofu was a cheap replacement for rice meant for poor people.

Why a problem ?

We're not talking about eating tofu as the main source of protein (which would truly be unwise)

But, IMO, drinking 1 glass of soy milk every day will have no detrimental effect
