zerxes,
i understand and respect your opinion man. but it just shows me how far this sport has spiraled down that good bodybuilders now feel that they are required to use these types of methods to get the results they need. first people were using low dose steroids, ok...i can handle that. then GH, IGF-1, Insulin (which i hate) have made its way into the arena. anyone who wanted to be competetive now has to use these things because thats what their competition is using. now within the past years synthol and its relatives, silicone implants and other such "artificial" methods are starting to become rampant. so i ask you....when does it ever end? what is going to be the next outrageous idea to add just a bit more size or get just a bit more lean?
this sport began about health, physical fitness, and natural human beauty. it is getting farther and farther away from the idea as we go. i believe that we, the general bodybuilding public, have a responsiblility to bring the sport back to something to be admired.
i understand that not everyone has the best genetics and may have lagging body parts but that is no excuse to use any method possible to try and make up for it. some girls are not cut out to be beauty queens, some guys are not cut out to be bodybuilders. i can see your point and i understand that this is where the sport has been taken to but it doesnt mean that i have to like it or participate in it.
for someones own personal use: do whatever the hell you want. if you want to compete on stage....then keep the oil out of it and build some real muscle.
just my opinion =/
