Sinus infection

My streak of not being sick for years is over. I have a sinus infection and I feel like shit. No fever, but feel weak and dizzy and just a general blah feeling. The reason I became ill, too much stress. It is always the reason I have gotten sick. The immune system breaks down under too much stress.

I feel for you. I never got sinus infections until about a year ago. Now I get them about 2x a year. They suck.

Did you get an antibiotic?

Not yet. What were your symptoms? I don't feel like doing anything and I'm very dizzy and kind of weak. I was thinking I'll just let my body fight the infection. Usually I heal very fast.

Sinus infections take a LOOONNGGGGG time to go away on their own. And if you don't get an antibioic, it may reoccur quickly (sicne you never got rid of the infection).

Sinus congestion - for me meant that my actual nose was not stuffed up, but I felt like I had cotton crammed in my head. My nose felt "full" and there was a ton of pressure. Got headaches, felt "fuzzy", NO sense of smell or taste AT ALL.

Sinuses are located by your eyebrows, on the sides of your nose, and I think there are some around your jaw.

That nasty green mucus when you blow your nose is a good sign of infection too.

Sounds like you might just have a virus. Water, tylenol, vit c and REST.

I would go see a doc as soon as possible. I had a sinus infection for over 8 months. I have also had three surgeries on my sinus cavities. email me if you have any questions.
