A day in the life of BPP. AS many of you know I've finally went back into the gym after a much needed 2 year break from multiple pec tears.
Anyway, I've trimmed the couch fat off (thanks to Trex), worked all the kinks out of the old joints and thought I'd plan out my next cycle. In this process, I took detailed notes of my diet to use as a point of reference. ( I have 15 or so years worth of similiar notes packed in the attic ) Much to my surprise and I'm sure the main problem with most newbies.......my diet absolutely sucks! What I thought was a decent, high calorie and high protein diet.....was not!
Monday's food turned out to be a measily 2225 cals of which I had 74 grms of protien and 248 grms of carbs....no where near the 4415 / 308 / 306 that I consumed on 10/9/2000.
Bottom line, I know better and should have realized that what I was eating was not up to par. I think you tend to forget how to eat to grow and most newbies take too long to figure it out. I did not expect to add any weight during this quick little experiment, it was more so just to see if I was heading in the right direction. I forgot the massive proportions that need to be consumed.
SO my advice to all that care to read......make sure you take the time to know what you're eating, you might be surprised and with any luck...you might begin to grow!
