I did both very heavily up until about 2 years ago. Cleaned my act up, but I would still do shrooms if I ran across em. As for Acid I don't think I could handle anymore. I like it but it is just too much of a commitment. I don't like being totally fuqed 
for 10 hours, something might come up and it would be hard to deal. Shrooms are cool though, 4 or 5 hours max and then you are back on earth. Good to see you back Conan69, how long you been back around, I thought you were still MIA.

drugs are bad for you. former acid freak here. but information isnt. candyflipping is awesome with the right people, atmosphere. places like disneyland, vegas, carnivals, raves, concerts are awesome venues for tripping. I dont promote acid since it made me highly sensitive to emotion(happy, lost, or I wanted to kick someone's ass), but E is a nice trip. weed is aight. I always say do your research first, then if you haven't backed down from what you have found, what the fuck are you waiting for?! always, have someone lookout for you if you are a first timer/rookie. just my two cents.

When i was young and stoopid, i used to trip on acid all the time. flying trinagles to triple dipped pyramids, you name it i sold it. I used to cut 10 strips off in the middle of class and take a sliivver for myself.. i'd be wiggin balls in the Planetarium. Fuck that now. that was a good drug for 5 bucks a hit.
Shrooms were the bomb. did em twice. first time was AWESOME. 2nd was ok. i wouldn't mind poppin shrooms agoin but not Acid.

heh. thanks. i would take psychadelics more often but my mind is so fucked up as it is. but an educated drug user can get pretty much any high he wants from legal drugs. no class D felony for possession, no asshole judge, etc.

shrooms and acid are the shit!! i dont trip anymore, but i used to have a friend that had a closet shroom kit. i used to eat about 3-4 caps with 1-2 hits of acid and have the best trips of my life. if youre not used to getting a lot of visuals when you trip, be forewarned, you will see shit youve never seen before. i had a couple friends wig out from seeing shit that wasnt there.seeing shit didnt bother me, i liked it a lot. i dont know about you but when i take acid i always feel really tense, i didnt get that feeling when mixing shrooms and acid, it was really relaxing.

Awww I was a big time acid/shroom head in high school.
Since then did them once and damn near went bolistic. It was pure terror. Too many things on my mind. When I was in high school beer and tits was the only thing stressing me. I kept seeing visions of my father popping into my head telling me that I would become a bum if I continued the way I was going. I flipped out and just walked through Manhattan for 4 hours. I then walked from somewhere in the 90's to my house in Flushing Queens.
Dont try to bring a good thing back. Once you commit its 8 hour trip. Ive seen people literally never come back if you know what I mean. I have truly never came back...
Its like you go over to this insane world that defies all sorts of logical and physichal laws. Its absolute chaos and insanity, but at the same time its peacefull. And you look at everyone else through some mirror like hey look I crossed over.

I only do grass now-a-days. I use to do acid and shrooms but then my friend had sex while tripping, now he couldn't get a hard on even if there was a nude model in front of him. I've never touched the shit since.

Personally, acid scares the shit out of me. I won't go anywhere near it. I know a few guys who trip all the time. And it's not that they're crazy or anything...just a little bit off. Kinda like part of thier brains arn't working quite right. They always talk about how cool it is and how it increases your learning curve by 300%....

I think both the Lycaeum and Erowid have their strengths and weaknesses. But you're right, overall, Erowid is more user friendly.

Controversial stuff. Used it long ago. Only stuff available years ago by which you could modify your Executive Software(unconcious programming). It kind of shuts down the information filter in the brain. Most people I know are so freaked out by it(especially acid) that they never use it again. Lots of that stuff that you experience on it is just everyday information that is blunted by the action or seratonin and probably other chemicals in the brain. Information not necessary for survival. Of course the term Hallucination is always thrown in the pot by the anti-drug groups and others to discredit valid uses for it.
Today there are other applications, though not as effective, that utilize electro/chemical means to accomplish somewhat the same goal. The only thing somewhat similar to LSD/Shrooms that is legal has a delivery system that burns the crap out of the lining of the mouth. And it's on the FDA's Poisonous Plants List. Didn't kill me though the times that I did try it.

Think of LSD-25 as a Hydrogen Bomb and Psylocibin mushrooms as an A-Bomb. And I don't call it fucking up your brain chemistry. You are just modifying it temporarily. Is it safe? You tell me. It totally changed my perspective. I'm not trapped by the morality and the social applications that were plugged into me as a child.
The only thing unsafe about it is that if you get caught with it you might end up in jail. And then you might have to deal with Mr. Reamer.
Think of it this way. Cats always go out and get fucked up in the Catnip patch. They seem to be OK and no one is locking them up for doing it. So why not us?

If you are going to try either, have some xanax on hand. This will virtually eliminate your chances of having a bad trip. Xanax is an anti-anxiety drug, which will eliminate any edgyness you may experience while tripping. You wont be bouncing off th walls either. It will chill you out, so you can sit back and enjoy your trip. Trust me, i know.
