Shoulder Injury

I was doing standing db presses the other day 3x8 of 45x55x65 and on the last set I heard a pop and the muscle has been sore the last few days. What do you guys think I should do for this??? ICE? HEAT? It's not so bad were I can't even move it, but it's bad enough that if I lift it's painful. Probably a strain?

Right now I'm cycling Pro Form EO Test Prop 100mg EOD and Var 50mg ED.

Is it your shoulder? Like directly in the middle? I'm having a similar problem, and it hasn't gotten better in 2 weeks. I'm getting an ex-ray done next week. It's really getting me down.

It isn't pissin me off just quite yet but I'm no fan of injuries. It feels like its my rotator cuff right on the edge between my shoulder and my arm. I think tomorrow I'll go to the trainer and see if I can get some treatment

Until you see someone, you can ice 20min on, 20 min off tonight or up until you see a professional to help with any inflammation.

Pain is the best sign you did something

do not lift for a couple of days and if no improvment
go see a Doc.
MRI and an educated opion will go far and informing you whats wrong

anytime bro
best of luck

ps rotator cuff exercises do wonders for both prevention of injury and also healing
especial external and upward rotation movements with a rubber band or light weight

Yeah, I just got it checked out today.... it's either a muscle right behind my rotater cuff..I forget the name, something maximus or he said I might have torn some caritlage but hopefully not. It only hurt doing a couple tests by the doc. It hurt doing the test where I'd put my arm across my chest making my arm turn cournter clockwise so my thumb is face down while they put pressure on my arm. I couldnt do it. So what I'm going to do is take a few days off and see what they have to say tomorrow and on monday. If anything, they said it usually only takes a few weeks for strains like this to heal with the right excerises. It's all good. Thanks again

you could have had a minor tear of this as well instead of a rotatowrcuff:

yeah maybe, it might also be the supraspinatous... I'll have to get the exact muscle tomorrow but I was just more focused on how long it would take to heal and that it wasn't anything too serious.
