Shoulder giving out?

My left shoulder just gives out when Im doin chest. It doesnt really hurt just quits workin. This is reallly gettin in the way of progress. Any thoughts would be apprecitated>
 
Are you using barbells or dumbells?
I had the same problem when i was using barbells, switched to dumbells and has helped out alot (more natural movement).
 
Your right is stronger than your left. Could be lack of Tri developement too. If im correct your last rep you can get the right side up but your left side falls correct?

It is certainly something to do with the joint. It just feels a little numb and then the joint shuts down. I understand what you are sayin about the tri but that is actually the most disproportianately large part of my body. It shuts down after a few excercies and yes I can go much longer when using dumbells.

What's your cycle like? you using winny?
 
I always have probs with my right shoulder, at least one a year it gets fucked. LAst weekend on decline barbell, i was lowering the weight and there was a pop and swelling. I get it periodically, to joint doesnt seem to mover properly, like the tendons are loose and its not stable.
 
I am only takin 3 ius nutropin daily but am soon too add in some winny. When I take deca it goes away and that is not psychosomatic.
 
It's prob. because you are a righty, I have the same problem. Be careful I just had tendonitis surgery on my left elbow in November now my left shoulder is going on me, I am going to need rotator cuff surgery.
 
dont take shoulder pain lightly. my good bro hurt his shoulder going heavy on incline presses and ended up having surgery and now will never lift again. true story.
 
I go through the same shit when I do chest. I had rotator cuff surgery though but it was like that even before. I think it's like said above, ..you are stronger with your right but definitely pay close attention to it.
 
The shoulders are sooo difficult to diagnose. I used to date a physical therapist and had access to very good people at the clinic she worked at. They worked with a few college athletes. I had a popping occasionally in my left shoulder(and a sense of weakness) and after all the evaluations and poking,pulling stretching they FINALLY came to the conclusion that I had underdeveloped rear delts and had done too much work on front delts and it caused that forward looking shoulder rotation that some boxers, bbrs have. She said it looked like I spent too much time looking at myself doing front delt movements in the mirror. Like I would be that vain !! :qt: Probably true as I have been hitting my rear delts a lot more since that diagnosis. I havent had any issues since. I do take a towel after a shower and hold it behind my back and hold each end and stretch for a few minutes. All the therapists agreed that is the the 2nd best thing to paying 100 bucks a pop to have a therapist stretch you out. If that doesnt work, I would see a dr or a therapist. If you jack a shoulder up, you can be out of the game for a while. Hope this helps somehow.
