should you be lean when starting a cycle ?

just wondering if it's best to start a bulking cycle with deca when one is lean or if you should be carrying some bodyfat.

I'm dieting now and wanted to start my cycle when I'm finished.
Is this okay or would it be better to diet and then put some weight back on naturally and then start?

its really up to you and your goals, probably better if started lean, cause your not gonna get lean while bulking, or you can lean out afterwards.

I dont think it really matters. You might make better gains if you put on some weight first. I would just start now and eat lots of calories.

well I've got a gut and was thinking don't AS make you gain muscle and lose bf at the same time or is that only with something other than deca clycle??

peace :fro:

fina :)

i allways get as lean as possible before i bulk i am 6.9% bf now and will bulk in three weeks with test /deca/dbol proviron/whinny

thats what i thought too cause when i get lean and then start bulking the weight is added easily but then I reach a certain weight and it''s like no matter how much i eat i dont gain weight very fast at all, so i will lean up first at least for 4 weeks probably closer to six

It really depends on your goals. If you start out lean and eat clean but plenty of calories(high protein, low carbs, low fat) you will add mostly lean muscle mass and not have to cut down so much at the end. Or if you start out with a high bf% and go straght into a bulking phase(and dont eat cleanly)you'll still put on weight, but lots of bodyfat as well. Then you'll have lots of work at the end to see that six pack. I prefer to start off lean, then bulk up, then cut up some more.
