Luckily for me I cleaned house awhile ago, and I don't plan on being on for a long time. That is beside the point; it's the fact that we would have no privacy. I honestly don't see the point in doing this. What purpose does it serve? Is EF initiating its own Patriot Act so certain individuals can have control and authority to invade the rest of our freedom and privacy? Why the hell hasn't anybody addressed this? Hopefully it is just a big misunderstanding, and they are sitting back and watching how far this will go before they set the record straight. But that would be stupid, because in the meantime they are losing valued members.

I think this poll and the other threads of this morning show where the users of this forum stand on the use of our personal information. I also thought the purpose of moving the servers across the border were to protect our information. If our privacy is not paramount as we all were led to believe, I fear this board is doomed.

One of the admins should have posted a blurb at least to let us know they are aware of the problem and are correcting it, or at least discussing it. The lack of those assurances just lead to speculation that privacy isn't an issue to the administration of this board.

i find it so odd that you seem to be one of the very few that continue to say shit like your above post. it wasnt to long ago you were severly up in arms about the whole satch debacle now you seem to have gone through this dramatic change and telling everyone to chill and wait it out while there are still peeps that have access to everyones info. im not one to call anyone out or even respond to bulshit or start bulshit but this situation is a very delicate one and we've got 10+ pages already of peeps sayin this isnt cool whats up etc.. but still no response to us from those that are mods...chairmen of the board(except one and he agrees with the majority) or even GS himself.. yet not to long ago he asked another to join him in plat chat on another thread.just seems funny right there. this situation needs solved and now.. we dont need more shit around here about wait, wait, wait. 10+ pages is plenty of waiting, still no action from the powers that be. sorry to be an asss about this but im a very serious person when it comes to privacy.
