Should Old People Be Required to take A Drivers test again?

Listen, I like old people and have alot of respect for them but lets face it alot of them lose their faculties as they age which makes them a danger to other drivers. I mean I understand that they have rights but if they start to infringe on others rights then they need to be looked at. I mean there are kids on the road that have not even hit 10 that might not get the chance to hit 11 just because of some elderly person who refused to quit driving.

So what do you think should there be like an annual driving test after the age of say 70? If not 70, what age do you think a driving test should be given again.

Hell yeah!!! I think everybody should have to take the road test again every time they go to renue their licence. Not just the old people. We´d get rid of a whole shitload a people who have no business being on the road. I bet half the people that have a licence right now couldnt pass that road test again if they had to.

Too much $$$.

Some states to have differing licensing requirments though. You are required to renew like every 4 or 5 years, and then when you hit 65 it is every 2 years and that includes a vision test, etc.

hell yeah they should but zen has a point.

I think that people's licence plates should be there phone numbers or something else where we could identify them.

Ultimately the result should be the ability to vote other drivers off the road.

Let me just say that there are 2 things that make me rage!!
1. Assholes on cellphones who cut you off then slam on the brakes and go 10 miles under the speed limit then get back in the other lane.
2. Elderly people who can not drive if there life depended on it. Ha maybe thats why they cant cause they no its time to die and they just dont give a F@$k.
Im not sure what kind of law there should be to this instance but, something needs to be done. I cant wait until the future so that when im old there will be automatic vehicles to take me anywhere or something like that. If any of you want to here a funny story about an old woman driving her car in reverse into a building post and injuring people please let me know.
