Should I Shave off my Beard ?

I've worn a beard for like "Ever", and have considered several times shaving off the beard
and the Mustache as well due to the grey hair making me look older than I am.(40).

Just curious of the opinions out there.

If I were there, here is what I would do. I would ask you to take off your hat. Then I would hit you in the jugular with a chinese star that I was hiding in my meaty paw. I would then feed you to the alligator. Now, the alligator would be shaped just like you, as if it were a Bugs Bunny cartoon. Then I would take a sledgehammer and knock out the alligator.

Then I would beat your hat with the alligator. That way, it would be irrelevant whether you had your beard or not.

Yes, the grey beard was sorta salt n pepper until recently its started to go all grey in patches..

I've actually thougt about using JUST FOR MEN beard stuff, but I have seen some turn out way off color and it looks a bit fake.
Then you have the whole "upkeep" issue.

Yes, but longer, and the full beard should be maintained all the way down, none of that thin strip shit. Just shave off the goatee area, and leave the rest there. You'll be a southern badass for sure.

Don't dye it for gods sake! Have you seen that grecian beard formula commercial? "No play for Mr. Gray..." when he comes back with a dyed beard it just looks so fake! Shave it off, it'll take years off.

Actually I don't know what you look like with the beard off. I think you should keep it from what I see so far. It makes you look rough and rugged. However if you were to shave it off it may make you look more feminine. Either way you should still remain a stud.

I think you should Dye it black or brown. I would def. dye it before shaving it.

IMO you have a face that would probbly look better with a beard. Not saying you would look bad without one but your facial structure and features looks like it fits a beard good. Just gye it....the fyes they have now arn't that bad. It won't look fake.

I'm like Tim McGraw in that I'm losing hair and wear a hat a lot.
The problem I have with the Dye is maintaining it, not the look.

I'll try the Miami Vice look(short) first and take a shot without the hat, as I need to get some Sun on my face where the beard is
before I think about shaving it all off.

I'm probably gonna go REAL SHORT BEARD for a while and then if I like that, I'll shave it all off.
