let's put it this way... all my friends who visit australia want to move there... I live in the US. Therefore, I would recommend you stay in australia. You may, however, be able to pull some mad puss if you have a money accent.

im contemplating leaving everything i have here and backpacking over to america with a friend for a year (or more if things go well)...
im 19 and in the australian army.. but for the last few months i have been debating on whether or not i have made the right decision. before i joined the army i was not working and not studying - i basically did nothing for the year after i finished high school.
theres nothing wrong with the army and at this point im thinking i would want to join rejoin later on... but doing this backpacking business is something ive always wanted to do, but never found anyone who would have wanted to go with me. but my best mate here says he would be up for it

anyone got any thoughts on this? thanks
