Should I have called the cops on my girl/ex?

A couple weeks ago, my ex girlfriend (kinda still girlfriend) smashed my flat panel monitor (600 bucks) and keyed the back of my car . I saw her keying my car right before she jumped in her car and took off, i was looking for something to fuck up her car but she got away in time before i could go apeshit on her Mitsubishi. I decided not to call the cops because i didnt want to get her in trouble. I am pretty good friends with a few cops in town and i coulda screwed her over if I wanted to..i deserved her being pissed off at me(long story) but I dont think she needed to take it there. im just pissed now because i dont think she is financially able to pay for any of this shit.

i deserved her to be pissed but not damage my property, she found out I been hanging out with someone else once in awhile.

I decided not to call the cops because i care about her and dont want to get her in trouble..i deserved her being pissed off at me(long story) but i dont think she needed to take it there.

Violence just isn't the solution. And she fixed things by doing what she did HOW? No matter what you did to piss her off it doesn't constitute violence. Get out NOW... She resulted to it once believe me she will do it again.

oops i forgot to ad that i kinda retaliated, i slashed up like 5 pairs of her jeans with a switchblade. I felt bad the next day about that one, i know how hard is for a chick to find a perfect fitting pair of jeans.
