Should I go??

Hubby has a business trip lined up -- leaving tomorrow am, coming back Friday afternoon. I had gone along last year and was "included" in the "festivities", etc....... so we booked me to go also (I have to pay for my own flight). Well, now I can't be on the shuttle from the airport to the hotel cuz of liability, can't go to the "events," etc....

It's $100 to cancel...... he thinks he "might" be able to "sneak" me into some of the things.

Should I go or cancel??

Yeah, I was thinking of cancelling..... don't want to have to deal with the BS of being "snuck" in, etc.... Don't know why the change from last year.....

I'd just have to eat $100.....

Well, it depends on what you mean by "better time?" The buffets, meals, get togethers, etc I can't go to, unless I'm "snuck in" If that's even possible....

So, I have the potential of being by myself most of the time..... or hubby will have to avoid his work duties to be with me -- which I don't want him to do, but I know he'll feel obligated...

So, I have the potential of being by myself most of the time..... or hubby will have to avoid his work duties to be with me -- which I don't want him to do, but I know he'll feel obligated...

well i would suggest, take this time, and use it on you, let him go, and u chill out at home, have a girls day on you- meaning spoil yourself, pamper yourself, play your fav cd, have a nice bath, danced around the house naked, rent a movie, invite a girlfriend over,
do all this and u will hadly know your husband is not there

Prolly, if I paid for them myself....

What bugs me is the uncertainty of whether or not I get to go to the meal events or not..... Maybe maybe not.....

Just called the travel office -- it will be $100 to cancel.....

Well if it is somewhere fun to shop and/or lay in the sun go....you guys can do things at night. But if you will be just hanging around you would have more to do at home!

It's in South Carolina -- where it was last year, so I saw all the sights.... shopping isn't all that either -- same stores as here, but where I live has no sales tax!!

I can do the gym, spa stuff, manicures/pedicures, shopping all here without spending $560 for the plane fare & $50 for cab fare + $$$ for my own food, drinks, etc......
