Should i change now

I finished my last course 8 weeks ago, i am still on the last week of igf. i have changed my training because i felt i was over training, started to eat more and the results are great.

Every week im hitting personal bests, feeling it the next day and everything is increasing, this is great dont get me wrong.

I will be starting another course in 4-5 weeks. should i start a different training style like negatives for the next 6-7 weeks then go back to the system im currently doing a few weeks into the course?

I dont want to stay on this system if a week or so into the new course i start to Plateau

Any advice is welcome

My currrent training is example: Chest + triceps
Flat dumbbell press 3 sets 5-7 reps 40kg
Incline barbell press 2 sets 5-7 reps 75kg
Dumbbell fly's 1 set 5-7 reps 17.5kg
Close grip bench press 3 sets 5-7 reps 60kg
Straight bar pushdown 1 set 5-7 reps 42.5kg

Then abs- all done in 60 minutes

Sounds like youre doing awesome bro! Glad to hear you're pumping out the PR's! I would suggest throwing in the negatives, or static holds to switch things up once you plateau. As long as you keep banging out PR's, no reason to change anything....and if you do decide to start throwing something else in, get a few more calories than you're getting now, you don't want to go back into that overtraining phase.

I love these forum's the usual prinipal of what works for one doesn't work for another.
Cheers for the advice zqzaz.
Protobuilder, when you say YES, any suggestions. what go for different exercises, sets reps?

As for negatives, i was under the impression that they work on the stress of the muscle, the longer the muscle is placed under stress, as in a heavy weight for 7 seconds per rep, the more microscopic trauma caused

Any input welome, cheers

would just changing the exercises, i.e flat dumbbells to flat bench, flys to dips be as good as a change. even if i keep them to the same rep range?
