It's a bit of a process. My father is American and we have dual citizenship. My brother married an American and she moved here as well. I have an aunt and uncle and several cousins in the US that have dual citizenship. Marrying a Canadian would obviously make it easier but even then, it took quite a while for my brother and his wife to get things sorted out. If you have in demand skills and can get a job offered to you here, that would help pave the way as well.
