shot pain?

hey everybody,
I have no idea if people do this or not but every now and then people complain about shots stinging. does anyone else ice their shot area before the shot. I have never had pain since I started icing my shot areas before. all you do is ice, do the shot, rub with alcohol, and then throw a hot water bottle on it after a quick massage. just my two cents in for bros afraid of the pain.

Similar here. exept...

For example, for a Glute shot I lie on a Heating blanket for about 15 minutes and watch some TV. Then Rub with Alcohol and shoot.

No problem.

Whereas, if it's a Quad shot then for some reason whenever I use the heating blanket I allways seem to bleed for about 4 minutes.. Why? no clue...
