Shot not deep enough

I am somewhat new to gear, and last night I did 2cc of primo, but I don't think I went deep enough this time. There was a large lump on my glute for several hours, but it's gone down quite a bit now. My question is have I wasted the gear, or will it still get absorbed?

You didnt waste it but you run a bigger chance of infection if you dont get it deep in the muscle.

Generally there is less fat on the quad and its easier to see, if your shakey, quads may be a good idea. I usually use 1.5" for glutes and quads.

Zyglamail, thanks so much for your help. Now, if I can just figure out the right spot. Is it half way between the knee & hip, and half way between the side & top? Are there any viens there?

I would not recommend the thighs if you are new to injects and if are shaking.

Here's what I did recently untill i became accustomed to the injects:

I will only do glutes now since I hit a vein in my quad (I still have a bruise from it)

Step 1: have a beer to calm your nerves (one beer every 3 days will not kill you before anyone complains)

Step 2: warm the syringe under hot water

Step 3: Clean the inject site in your quad with alcohol, then put a little orajel (for sensitive teeth) on the site. This will numb it a little and lubricate it so you wont even feel it pierce the skin. Once it pierces the skin it should slide right in with no pain.

It also helps me inject if I am standing (but don't flex). If the skin and muscle are slightly tight, i can inject very easy rather than lying down where the skin is loose and the needle "pops" through the skin...

How do you reach your glutes by yourself? I don't have that kind of flexibility. I'm going to be switching it up between quads and delts this time around.

It is a bit difficult to reach around and hold it steady. I like the idea of a quad shot because I could use both hands to hold it in place. But, is there more chance of bruising or a lump with a quad shot?
