Short vs. long cycles...

What do you guys think about really short cycles with short ester gear (tren ace, test prop, anavar, halo, etc) lasting from 2-4 weeks in duration, with respect to gains, sides, HPTA, any other pros and cons, etc...
 
bump for replies.....i am running my first 5 weeker with prop 180mg eod and winstrol 100mg ed........results so far are awesome.....
 
I think the best gains to side ratio would be in a 4 weeker.

Most on this board though seem to be pro long cycles.

I just completed a 4 weeker ( almost five weeks to be precise ), havent completed my PCT yet but all the water held is now gone and it seems like I'm going to keep all the 14 lb I gained.

For those who compete longer cycles seem to be ideal, especially that most of them are at or above their natural potential, so it depends on what your goals are as well.

One problem with short cycles is that although you recover faster with no crash and keep most if not all the gains, some tend to do it over and over again without knowing for certain that they have fully recovered through bloodwork because it can get pretty expensive.
 
Im currently running a approx 4-5 week cycle consiting of ethanate, drol, & slin, I am a little over halfway through and I packed on about 15lbs so far, I only used the drol to kickstart my cycle for 2 weeks.
 
for me a longer cycle makes sense because it takes time for your body to adjust to the new weight it is carrying and for that weight to become the normal weight the body trys to hold. just my opinion and what works for me
 
Check out the book "Building the perfect Beast" a rotation of short cycles Androgenic then anboilc..etc. Proven to yeild great results
 
short cycles are more fun as gains come quicker, but i have been told many times, gain fast, lose fast.....

i'd say longer cycles, prefer 10 weeks are best....

Kinda no point in running a short cyp cycle, it has a longer halflife then enan, not a huge difference, 10.5 vs 12 days, but with either its not really kicking in until week 5 for most people, so a 4 weeker would be a waste, gotta go with the prop for that, 4.5day halflife is much more suited for a short cycle.
 
You guys that are running "short" cycles with long esters doesn't make much sense. Your recovery time is going to be much longer which defeats the purpose. I'm gonna do a few short ones and see if I can make some better gains. Less time to recover means less time to lose gains.
