Shooting wrist pains...

What are you guys doing about these? They are getting so much worse for me. I can't do any curls with a straight bar, with a ez curl bar they still kill when I release my grip.

The pains shoot from my wrist half way up my arms. I've tried wrapping my wrists but it hasn't helped. I have tried just about everything. I've been taking glucosamine/msm, but I'm starting to think it's not joint related but more ligament/tendon related. Anyone have a fix for this?! It's the are of my forearm where there is a crease. Where the upper forearm meets the lower.

I don't think its carpal tunnel....it only hurts when I am lifting weights. Day to day activities I am fine.

bro,
i had the same problem when i was about 16-17 years old and i just kept lifting on it, just taking the pain and it eventually went away, my advice is to stick with what your doing and eventually it will go away...

mine did that also..i quit qorking out for 2 weeks kept icy hot on it every now and then..stayed away form the computer (typing) and just took it asy with them for the off time..when i started back up i started doing wrist curls and reverse wrist curls and wore wrist straps everytime i workout and it hasnt been a problem in a few months..hope that helped

sounds like tendonitis or bercitis xx. look these up on Web MD. i had a terrible case of tennis elbow this fall and had to lay off th courts for over a month. it got so bad i got shooting arm pains when i shook someone's hand.

you have to let it heal. ice will help. i bought one of those straps that you wrap around your elbow with velcro snaps. you put it in the freezer first. you must accept that you need to lay off of it for a while or it will never get better. i am back playing but afraid it has not completely healed. :( sadly this is a slow injury to heal.

I get the same pain every once and a while. It usually reappears for a week or so then it's gone again. I get it all the way into my elbow on my left arm only.
