shirts under button ups

OK, so I read a bunch of guys give the no-no to wearing shirts under button up shirts. I never liked that much myself, but I got some light button up shirts that you can see through pretty easily. Should I rock the skin tone underneath, or wear a shirt under it?

post a pic of the shirt and what type of under shirt etc.... to match accessories ? is it an all white under shirt?

i prefer the no shirt underneath..

The reasons i have to wear a T-shirt under a button shirt is 1) to absorbe sweat 2) to help stop the pit sweat stains from ruining your button shirt.

Besides nothing looks worse then your skin through a thin shirt. But always go with what makes you feel the best.

I tried the t-shirt underneath, but you can see it, and it looks even worse. So I guess I'm just gonna wear nothign under it. I need to be able to flash the chest hair anyway for that swarthy look. I don't go clubbing, just out to bars, so I'm not worried about sweating it up too much.

If you want to layer it, then you could wear a solid color t-shirt underneath the button-up, with the buttons open, or at least most of them.

sweat + pit stains.

Go with a black t-shirt - it doesn't have to be white.

I live in a very temperate climate so I never layer shirts. If I lived somewhere really hot though, I might think about it. Sweat stains are nasty.
