Shipping Question

such as it is supposed to go to 421 Smith Street Anytown, Anystate 12345 and it is addressed instead to 421 SMYTHE Street Anytown, Anystate 12345?

Really depends on how wrong it is. If the other info is correct such as name city, state & zip your local carrier can usually figure it out.

the "mailperson" in my neighborhood is more likely to deliver most of the mail to wrong person no matter what the addy say---i am not sure she can read....but it is really funny to find out your stuck-up snooty neighbor gets a lot of mail with "final notice" and "personal and confidential" from national recovery something---hehehehe sweatin' the porsche payment huh :lmao:

ZIp code is probably most important, then address, and lastly name. So If its close maybe but mail carriers do odd things even when the address is right.

It doesn't matter what the name is on the package, so long as the address matches a physical location... they'll drop it off at the specified address.
Don't anyone get mad at me here but my good bro says that registering PO boxes with a fake ID and checking it at night with dark clothing makes it stealtheir.
Disclaimer: Might violate laws and such, resulting in some sort of punishment.

very good points all around

mail fraud

Do what someone else here on the boards did. Go find a homeless person and pay him $50 to get a PO box in his name and give you the key. Then order all your gear in his name and pick it up late at night like you said before. Just make sure that homeless guy knows nothing about you.
