I think it depends on the mail carrier or carrier service. most USPS mail is scanned in via the zip code (evident from the printed bar code and zip numbers on bottom of parcel).

I figure small enough town, the currier might figure it out and re-route it...but unlikely

well, unless the town u mistakenly put down there zip code has that same street address, looks like that package is gonna get returned to sender.

You could always try to call the post office of the zip code you had it mistakenly sent to and tell them to watch for it to be scanned in....but use discretion if this is a "goodie" package if ya know what i mean

I'd say 50/50 you get it but it will be delayed. I've had incorrect addy's delivered here but someone has to figure out the mistake and we're talking govt workers.

depends on how discreet you want to be with the package. Hell, i'd just call the post office, tell em u made a mistake writing the zip code down for ur sender, and tell em to hold it for u when it arrives.

use ur best judgement though...don't want to be throwin up and red flags.

If you have a DC # check it out and see if it says undeliverable...if it does then call the post office...I did the very same thing about 3 weeks ago...it was actually the wrong address...but eithr way it goes back to the post office and you can have it re-directed..
