Shaved my head........

I was thinking about doing that,would you advise against it?Not sure if I would have a mis-shapen dome.

dude, the first time you shave your head you are always in shock and think you look like shit! You get used to it and then you actually like it. Once it gets a little tan you will love it. I just take mine down to the smallest attachment. I think the blade is a little to wigger for me. And getting ass is not based on your haircut, you have got to have game!

is it just me, or does shaving your head totaly change the look of that person, to the point of not even reconizing them, like if you have had a beard your whole life, and then you shave it, everyone is like, WHAT THE FUCK!!!! look like a different person....to me, people who are bald, look PLAIN.....sucks because i'll have to shave it in a year or so....
but there is a difference in shaving your head, and being bald....i think shaving could look good on anyone, just as long as they have thick hair when they shave....if your thinning bad and or bald, and you shave the rest, it looks totally different. like your bald......is this just me? or does everyone think this way?

My wife wants me to shave it off, but I love my hair.
If I start thinning too much though, I think I'll shave it all.
BUT, I will gradually do it..... by getting shorter and shorter haircuts until it's close to bald.
Bobber, take a picture and let us see it. I doubt it's as bad as you think.

I started shaving my head in 96. I used to go all the way down with a razor, now that seems like a pain. So I used the clippers with no guard. Once every 2 weeks or so.
When I first did it, there was no one else with a shaved head this side of Stone Cold Steve Austin. I got all sorts of attention. Now every clownshoe in town shaves their head. So it is no big deal.

at first i thought "holy shiot!!!! what the hell have i done?"
but then the compliments and long, admiring glances started..........
so clean, so simple, no fuss, not worrying if my hair looks good, can drive with the car windows down and not wonder if my hair is messed up............
"i love ur smooth head! can i rub it"?
which often leads to the OTHER smooth head being rubbed................

I shaved mine a couple times last year (mach 3) about this time and it looked really good. The only problem was that it intimidated the fuck out of people to the point where it was not fun. I went to the #1 guard for awhile and have now let it grow out to about a #3 on top, #2 and #1 on the sides and back...
Mine went from an inch, to 3/4, to 1/2, then 1/4, now i use the smallest attachment which i think is 1/8. I like it, makes you look mean though.
teen 1216, as long as you don't go all the way bald you will look fine. You just have to remember you are going to look in the mirror afterwards and freak out. It grows on you though.

I agree with Gin-n-juice, If/when I start loosing my hair I'll shave my head.
I just hope I'm one of the few white people that actually looks decent bald.
Wasn't that Saint that said he went somewhere sophisticated and everybody was scared of him because he looked like a skinhead - being so big and with a shaved head. Funny.

They had these items up for an auction and while I was looking at one I swear some old guy had dialed the numbers 911 and was just waiting to hit send on his cell phone once I stole the item. He didn't take his eyes off me the whole time lol.
All the people I was with just laughed all night long at the looks I was getting.

lol -- I think I remember you and Big Brother Val counseling me to shave it a year back... it did look good, but like I said, too intimidating... maybe when I start out in a new city where nobody knows me; then it will be normal cuz they've never seen me any other way.
I remember my daughter (3 yo) being extremely concerned about it too -- she didn't know what had happened!

Yes it can be quite a shock for people, when I did mine I went from long hair to no hair in a day and I remember the shock on peoples faces. The same people tell me now that they couldn't imagine me any other way. But yes it is very intimidating which is sometimes good sometimes bad, for me it has been mostly good, you will never see hair on this head again.

Nope my hair is blonde and very fine. Never see a shadow on me.
My head is very shiny and smooth, that is what the woman love about it. You can't even tell that I really have any hair.
I tan all year round which helps me avoid the white chrome dome look.
