shaved head vs. buzzed head

I am gonna go for a buzzed head( using clipper #1) for a change. For those who shave their heads, what do you prefer ...shaving your head or just using #1 or #2 clipper?

shaving with a razor is using the same effort as keeping a head of hair. so, once or twice a week, i buzz to the skin.

a norelco advantage electric shaver gets passed over my scalp and face every morning (or whever i fall outta bed).

Any good set of clipers you might know?

using the norelco is not that big of a deal....i shave around my stache & goat in the bathroom mirror, then do the rest of my face/neck/scalp while watching cnn or surfing the net....MUCH easier and less messy than using a mach 1 and edge gel.

I cant do it daily, thus I opt for buzz once or twice a week.

I shaved it bald once with a mach 3 and got some HORRIBLE acne on my head fo rsome reason. Tons of little puss heads so now I just trim it very short.

i liked mine better shaven with a razor then just clippers, easier to keep ,and really doesnt take long, maybe 15 mins a week

I tried electric shavers years ago and got about 2 weeks inot it and my face was tore up. Plus I didn't care for how it felt on my face so I bailed on it. The package said it could take up to a month for my skin to get used to it. I didn't have the patience I guess.

For me, there's a huge difference between razor shaved and even 2 day stubble - a completely different look because my hair's really thick. SO now that I'm back to shaved, I do it almost every day to keep it slick and shiny

yeh u rite! mine gets done daily, along with my face...peeps LOVE to caress the shaved head!

which can often lead to the OTHER shaved head getting rubbed.... :p  :chomp: :artist:

I keep min shaved to the skin but it took me some time to learn how my head liked to be shaved. I have found that shaving lightly then going over it with an electric razor keeps my head from razor burn and other skin problems.

If you are going to stay clipped all the time.. it's worth the investment.

Buy a BGR with ceramic blades or equivilent... you can get a trimmer blade and a 00000 blade... both are very short.

I like a little, read: tiny, bit of hair on the head with a tan.. I won't use a blade because 1) I think this looks better, 2) risk of razor burn, razor bumps etc are not worth it to me.

i am shaving my head as i sit here and surf, using my norelco advantage cordless shaver.

L O V E it when attractive strangers walk up to me and hesitantly ask if they can rub my shaved head....often leads to getting the OTHER head "rubbed".. :p :chomp: :artist:
