What killed me was they stopped the Shamrock fight due to the best interest of the fighter (shamrock), yet, let the first fight (the blood bath) continue until the guy lost at least a pint of blood!!! Go Figure! Wasn't that first fight into the 3rd round before they stopped it?

Not much action and I'm sure the fight could have gone on for a good while longer but Shamrock is washed up. Tito would have continued to dominate him and ended up handing him his ass anyway.
Shamrock did alot, maybe more than anybody, for the sport but his time is up, time to retire for good. This isn't like Pro Bball where Joirdan can come out of retirement over and over and shoot some hoops and get a little rough on the court. This is the UFC and when you get to Shamrocks point, it's time to hang it up before you get wrecked!!

they need to fire the ref for sure.
three elbows and you stop the fight, how fucking rediculous. the UFC is so fucking lamo nowdays.
pride is way better, UFC is all hype now. its getting pussified, you never know what would have happened if they had continued, tito could have gassed, like he did his last fight.
scamrock actually looked like he was handling the bottom well to me.
i still think tito would have eventually won, because scamrock is tooooo old school. he fights in second gear while tito is fighting in 5th.
im glad i have never had to pay a fucking dime to watch a UFC. but it does appeal to the masses, ill give em that much.

vanderlie has just about dominated his division though, i wanted to see him fight real top contenders, and it looked like there were none in pride.
that fight would be awesome though. that will be one hellava ticket to see vanderlie in the octagon. that will be a spectacle right there.

shamrock became a punching bag - the ref's hands were tied. If he had continued it, Ortiz would be pissed on why he stopped him during his barrage that could've resulted easily in a tko. Now he has to do it all over again. There's no 'pause the fight cuz you're getting your ass kicked'.
