There is this hot chick in one of my classes that I've ben checking out. This chick is pretty hot, not playboy hot, but definatly hotter than your average hot chick. She is very quiet so I've been thinking of ways to break the ice and try to get closer to her, but today I noticed something surprising and am now somewhat turned off. I heard her talk.
From her speech and the strange way she moves her mouth when speaking, I get the impression that she is deaf, but I am not sure since she asked the instructor a question and she seemed to acknowlege his answer even when she wasn't looking at him. She is extremely good looking and might be a very awesome person, but her apparent handicap is now a big deterant for me.

Would it be a showstopper for you or do you think I'm being too shallow?

Maybe she is hearing impaired as opposed to totally deaf. If she was totally deaf I doubt she'd be able to take a class without a sign language interpreter. But so what if she is deaf or partially deaf it really shouldnt matter if you like the girl then go for it.

See, the problem is that even if we might hit it off I would always be self concious about being out with her in public. Its not because she might be deaf, but becaue her mouth moves all weird when she talks.

I've stopped dating girls for pettier reasons, like for wearing sketchers (I hat those fucking shoes)
