Sets and reps

which do you guys feal is more effective for building size? ive been using the 5x5 method, but i kinda miss the 3 sets for 5 reps. I want to be explosive, quick and big, im on eq and test eth at 500mg a week and on week 3 of 50mg of dbol a day.
 
5x5 is my favorite routine. Ive done high set routines, hst, and DC training. DC is too fuckin slow, probably effective but makes me dread my workouts. HST wasn't much fun either. 5x5 is perfect. No overtraining, and heavy weights. sometimes i add another excercise in there tho making it 4 total.
 
I do needsizes 5x5 sometimes modified a little. I do 5 sets of 5 with a heavy compound movement. Then I pick 2 or sometimes 3 different excercises and do them with 10-12 reps. Great pump, great gains, and no overtraining. If your on cycle I would add in the 4th excercise.
 
5x5 gets my vote.
