After I mix up a vial of serostim, how much time do I really have to use it before it before it goes bad... the kit says use within 24 hours of mixing, but that would mean that I have to use 18 i.u./day, not necessarily a bad thing but it would get really expensive... any information would be useful.

It is usually best to follow the directions, but I've used the serostim up to 48 hours after I've reconstituted it. Just keep it in the fridge and all should be well... But I always use it within 48 hours.

Yes, the 126iu kits are made for people with wasting diseases like aids, who take massive shots. The water won't last long, even in the fridge. The Serono Saizen kits are made for supplementing GH deficient folks, and ship with bacteriostatic water cause they must last longer for smaller dosing.
Best bet.......obtain some bacteriostatic water. Don't want to waste our expensive GH, do we? Its otc in Canada, and I think Animal carries it.

bad advise bro....your NOT suppose to mix bacteriostatic waterwith serostim....you HAVE to ONLY use the water but its ok for a few days..

Mixed with bariostatic water it is good for a few weeks(2 to be safe). With the sterile water included it will go bad quickly.

for saizen yes but not for serositim....i spoke chemist who knows these drugs very well and i was told not to mix sersostim with the bac water....

The serostim is a brand name made by sazien. I am pretty sure they are the same.

Everyone I know mixes serostim with bariostatic. It works.

My doc told me the Serostim will stay good for 6 days in the sterile water.....the 24 hour warning is mainly aimed toward immuno-deficient persons, because significant bacteria will accumulate after this....no worries for a healthy person,however. I have never had any problems with my GH going bad.
