Seriously, are u going to heaven or hell?

Wow. Wasn't this thread about heaven or hell? All I'm reading is that Debaser has some serious issues. He has to be young.
 
When you die your brain will cease functioning. It has been demonstrated in recent years that consciousness can be described by a process of communication among various parts of the brain, memory being a part of that and short term memory/perception being your current realization of the world. The intellectual world has come a long way since Descartes. Your self is not an infallible source of truth - if you ask yourself if you exist the answer is simply a process of the brain directly answering, and the feeling of doing this a process itself. Since people have not been able to clearly demonstrate this in the past the self has been deemed an extra feature beyond the processes, giving credence to the possibility of non-consciousness zombies and souls. Because of progress in neuroscience and philosophy, consciousness now appears to be a synthesis of what can be described as physical properties and processes.

The evidence is so stacked against religious beliefs that fundamentalists now must maintain a state of denial, cognitive dissonance and oblivion. Not to mention intellectual disability to some extent depending on the subject.

It is no longer the 17th century yet the number of people identifying themselves as Christians and Muslims appears to be growing as a proportion of the world population not exclusive to developing countries. The world is a giant fairy tale.

I'm glad you finally see things my way.

And I train between 3-6 hours a day. Obviously that's not all spent lifting weights. I also train with things like joint function, power and endurance in mind. I have decent size, but even that's taken a big hit due to the sheer amount of running I've had to do (and soon even more swimming). It's all a compromise since I'm natural, even though my diet is spot on.

It's not a competition, but you questioned my dream. I'm resolved in my goal to the point where my parents and friends are worried about me, so I don't expect you to understand, nor do I care. I've had to work twice as much, so I can save up money to get LASEK eye surgery, just so I can qualify for BUD/S. I'm giving up a career that would pay me 3-4 times as much, dumping about $20K worth of schooling down the drain, and enlisting instead. So before you question my desire, get some fucking perspective.

Anyway, I'm going to sleep. Ramble on if you want, I'll be back tomorrow or in a few days.

ive got fucking perspective, im not some 22yr old kid and what i see is a very angry and hostile individual, qualities that will get you nowhere in the service. i never questioned your desire or resolve(this is the first post youve made asserting such), i based my loose opinion on your rants.

Heaven lies just on the other side of the fourth plateau, there is no hell except trying to explain the plateaus with out showing it to them so that they can believe for themselves. Follow my path to a higher existence!! Join the League!

i will join this weekend. i need to read that thread again.

one question that i dont think was covered though. im hypoglycemic. not eating every 3 or so hours puts me low. how will this effect my trip and what effect may the DXM have while in a low state? because you have mentioned something about using it for dieting.

Well, you are going to be starting at level one I assume so you wont be out on a out of body mission, so you should be able to consume something as you normally would.
I used it in the beginning b/c it promoted fat loss and helped with energy and appetite control. I was on a ketosis diet so I wasnt concerned with blood sugar levels b/c I wasnt using glucose for an energy source.
As far as I know about your question about DXM doesnt effect blood sugar levels, but really there isnt anything out there specific to answer your question. I just havent seen it, I'll give a quick look though and get back to you.
I wouldnt be very concerned about the HG b/c your mental functions are intact and can still move and you'd remember to eat something so no biggie. NOw if you decide to go to higher plateaus. Then that would be more of a problem b/c you are in a different universe/plane of existance altogether and your body and this reality has dissolved away. Obviously that limits the ability for one to nourish themselves. But Im sure there is probably a solution somewhere in some foods thatll give a slow burn. And really you peak at three hours and shortly afterwards you prolly be with it enough to eat something. I dont see it being that much of a hinderance, just something to plan around.
Make sure you PM me about what exactly your doing and taking so that we can make sure to avoid any "Houston we have a problem!" incidents again like the last pyschonaut mission. ;)

I believe that the concept of a fiery hell with endless torment is a man made interpretation, based on the legend of Gehenna.

Gehenna was supposedly a valley where the followers of GOD was burned alive by their enemies. Later this valley was used as a wastedump where garbage was being burned. The stories of Gehenna where therfore used to scare children from being bad (ie if you are not nice, you will be placed in Gehenna). These stories has since evolved into the Hell of Christian beliefs that we know of today. Whether this was a "natural evolutionary" process of a story, or if it was purposely set up to scare the common man to not stray from the teachings of GOD, by the clergy, is unknown.

According to earlier teachings/ different interpretations, the concept of hell was "nothing" more than absence of GOD. Eternal death, contra eternal life in his presence.

Another theory regarding hell, is that those placed here. Are only people that knows that they have done something wrong. That sins against your own convictions will condemn you, not neccesarrily sins against GOD or committing acts considered to be evil by your peers.

I have nothing to back these "claims" up, save my own demented memory from what I've read in the past etc.
 
History of hell from what I heard sounds similar. That it was a pit where dead bodies were put and was said to children, youre going to hell, when they did something wrong.
Truth is hell is the reality of not knowing and is on this plateau of existance only. Once you move out of this reality to a higher plateau, the secrets of existance are slowly revealed to you.
The shining path awaits all who seek it.

:rainbow: This topic is one that has huge differences. For me I feel that only God will decide where each of us will go. It's said "Do not judge anyone" ...right? Well everyone in the world has done this at one time or another. Those who questioned anothers person views on religion have in effect " Judged that persons beliefs"....the rest is history.
For me, my life has been filled with one road block after another. Faced death 2 different time in my life. Yet, I'm still here. Telling everyone if I'm going to heaven or hell. I believe that God has a goal for me here on Earth, what that is, I have no clue. I'm sure we will all know the answer to "Heaven or Hell" once we get there in the end..... :)

Well, you misunderstand me. I'm not angry or hostile at all. Just assertive. It's hard to convey tone on a message board.

As such, let's call a truce. I'm not saying we have to be pals, but we can only throw insults at each other for so long before we can't think of creative ones anymore. You put on a uniform in service for our country, and that still garners my respect.

deal. no hard feelings just a little verbal jabbing. you just come across as not being able to tolerate someone elses belief, to the point where your literally screaming at them using inappropriate language. someone like HumorMe has his beliefs and as long as ive been here he has never tried to stuff them down anyones throat. he's very respectful in that regard.

besides i do have alot of respect for what your trying to accomplish. i had the same ambitious/dream somewhat but never followed thru for personal reason.

i think if you are putting this much into it then you have a fair shot. it will be tough so goodluck and i hope if you dont make it dont considered it a total failure.

Unfortunately, not entirely true. God has given EVERY human an inherant knowledge of Him, an inherant knowledge of good and evil. It is our duty to seek the truth.

Even these small, obscure tribes in the darkest depths of the jungle will recognize that there is a higher supernatural power in the universre without ever hearing of or reading about God.
