serious question, need help

Heres my story. I had been on moderate to low doses of AAS for 3 years. July of last year I dropped the dose to 200mg test every other week. Then in January I decided to try to reestablish my natural test levels. I did 500iu hcg ed for 2 weeks(wasgoing to do 4 weeks hcg then start clomid) before I was hit with strong anxiety. I have had this condition(anxiety) for 17 years but it has been controlled without reoccurence since, till
January. So I stopped the hcg. I went to the Doc and had complete blood wkups and my test levels were low enough that he put me on HRT. I have plenty of clomid but am reluctant because I fear it might aggravate the anxiety. My question is does anyone know of another person who had been on as long as I and still been able to get his natural test levels back? Im prepared to go thru whatever I have to to do this. Can anyone help, I am really apprehensive and looking for any help I can get.
Can the clomid still work? Any help is greatly appreciated.

if not, i would go with the hrt to get test back up

clomid will not solve your problems of low test for your life

imagine being 50 years old and 0 testosterone, that would suck!!!

do you know what your levels were before your first cycle

Since it has been so long since i was pumping any significant doses my doc thinks that in time the hrt will restore my levels.
He doesnt recommend the clomid. I will be seeing an endocrinologist for an opinion soon. First i have to get this anxiety balanced before i try any thing
