Serious opinions please....

no problem. I know a few couples that have been together for decades and never been married. Works if it works.

As far as therapy, i have never seen therapy work. Purely postponement of the inevitable, as far as personal experiences with friends goes. Mrs. Chef and I have had ups and downs, but still strong after 12 years. I hope it goes for ever.

If the couple has been together for years, then it would be the same as if they were married. Problems don't come with marraige alone. I'll go as far to say I commend those who do. Most married couples just say fuck it and get divorced.

BTW I'm pulling for the Leafs tonight. Not b/c I like them, but because I'd like to see Philadelphia beat up on them.

If they're interested in keeping the relationship together, and feel that therapy is a road to keeping it that way then they should try it. If it fails, then at least they can say they tried. Some problems though will never be resolved. Like a Sens and a Leafs fan under the same roof.

Therapy? If two people need therapy for something that should be natural then therapy will only prolong the pain of being together, in most cases.

I tend to agree with Havoc on this. I hope they can work out there issues but I am worried that they have some issues that can not be fixed.

Formage Zorro and Rex can some start another thread about how the Leafs are going to kick the Sens asses tonight. Then take you Philly sissies to school next! :qt:

I think it all depends on the issues... like I had this one chick I went out with once who wanted to do that (we had been together like 3.5 years) but then one day I realized she was just a selfish bitch like her mother and I dropped her ass that very morning... 2 months later I met the girl who would be my wife....

don't waste time trying to fix crap with bullshit people you should not be dating is the moral of the story... you never know who you could be meeting

Thread started. Go Leafs...for tonight.

They should go to counseling. They'll either discover tools to make this relationship work, or will discover that this relationship isn't going to work and still have tools with which to work on the next relationship.

They should just break up. If you're not even married yet, have only been together for two years, and are already having serious problems....you're not a good match!
