Well, if someone offered me a big check to say I came in second to the great Arnold, I'd take the money big time!

Lol, that's terrible. Too bad he doesn't even look like a bodybuilder anymore.

Well, as time goes on, we'll have to scale our training down too. Still, its important to enjoy today so that we can reflect on it with fond memories tomorrow, whilst still planning for the day after.

K to you (have to "spread it around" first, but you know what I mean.

I agree; time passes and our bodies become weaker and weaker. But heck, my dad, a rather athletic guy who works out once in a while, looks better than him at his age. He looks like he doesn't even care anymore - like something that was once his passion entirely evaporated into the blue. When I said that it's sad, I didn't mean it in the sense of 'well, he just sucks', but really in a 'sad' sense. But hey, I don't know the whole story so maybe I shouldn't be talking.

Yeah, but he used to be great!! I once met him in Chgo when I lived there. He was at this little whole in the wall bodybuilding supply shop talking on the phone. When I first saw him, I couldn't believe his taper...he had huge shoulders tapering down to an impossibly small waist. That was some 35 or 40 years ago...and I still remember it!

ya.. he was one of my favorites... You cant knock him down for being old...
