Seperating Fats and Carbs

It seems like it's a good idea not to mix fats and carbs but is there any wisdom to having days where you go low carb then the next day you go low fat

eg every other day you can alternate between 20g Carbs and 150g Fat or 200g Carbs and 25g Fat (or even maybe two days low carb, two day high)

or is this just silly?

I have not heard of anyone trying it. I throw in a high carb day once a week and usually go higher in fat on Saturdays (red meat day)

if you are trying to stick to a strict diet just keep in mind that your fats are 9 calories per gram as opposed to carbs which is 4 calories per gram...

i tried this last year, mr. x ripped into me for it. really, all it did was flatten me out alot.

just to add, carbs in general flatten me out. i am a high fat, low carb person (60 to 70 grams of carbs from oatmeal, tons of vegetables, and on training days, postworkout - 25g)
