semi-auto to auto: how hard it is ?

I get an AR-15 semi-auto for about 1100$US. Never used, still in the box. Now I was wondering if its hard to switch from semi-auto to auto ?

Go to www.ak47.net or even www.glocktalk.com those forums always have a lot of info. But in my opinion, theres no real need for semi auto, unless you have your own reasons I wouldnt bother. Its a great rifle as is.

No need for SEMI auto or AUTO?

There is plenty of need for semi auto gund. Or do you prefer double action pistols? Or bolt action rifles?

Is there a need for someone outside the scope of law enforcement to have a fully auto gun, doubtful.

For a semi-auto AK, no. You should be paying around 7-800.

I'll add for sure a 3.4x scope on it (the same as the canadian army use), a gun light sounds like a good idea.

With a suppressor you sacrifice the benefits of the shorter barrel (namely cutting angles when clearing a house) and don't get the benefit of a longer barrel and that is accuracy.

But it would raise the gun waay up in the "cool factor". And increase it's resell value.
