Selling domain names

I once was looking on ebay and someone sold buylamborghinis.com and ilovelambos.com for like $35,000

then i went out and bought up like 50 domain names such as
investdowjones.com, investnasdaq.com and like 50 others along those lines... This was about a year ago and they slipped my mind

anyone know how to sell them? or if its even worth it?

nothing, fed statute prohibits carpet bagging with domain names...

well not nothing, but not a great deal...

Since the Dot com bust domains are not worth shit! And you can't domain squat any more. To many domains now .com .net .org .tv .heatlth etc etc!

yeah, people made money several years ago buy buying up trademarked names and then selling them to the rightful owner. But now the owner can have you removed and the domain suspended if you're just carpet bagging and don't have some sort of "claim" to the name.

However, if your initials are "IBM" and you bought the domain before them, you could still legally have them pay you to get it. www.continental.com used to be owned by some sort of continental cars, car dealership, not the airline; those sort of claims are valid.

Most companies (that have an interest in a net presence) now do a domain name search/registration as part of coming up with the new company name...

There are quite a few domains out there that offer domain names for sell, just do a search...

There's still money to be made but it's very difficult. Your best bet is to try and unload them on ebay. You can also check out www.dnforum.com and sell them there. With dnforum your posting with pro's so you'll most likely only get wholesale prices for your domain.
