Society has evolved, but evidently we have not, insofar as the basic human needs and impulses. So what is this self internalization you talk about franco? Very simple, society has crafted this idealistic mold everyone trys to fit into, whether or not you know, it effects us all. Even the anti-social to a significant degree. People are no longer free to act on their impulses, depending on the chemical balances which make us all so ever unique, this can lead to self internalization; by that I mean, when you aren't free to exercise your will, all those emotions turn inward, so instead of going out and being wild like the little animals we were programmed to be, these voidless feelings turn into self hatred, depression. I don't understand why some people would be ashamed of their nature, your nature is you. Victimizing, sadism, guilt, joy, these are all apart of us, some to obvious greater degrees. Morality sets the standard and so do those "preachers of death"(extra points if you figure out what I mean) Our savior is in the form of pills now juxtaposed to the thrill of the hunt, but if you look it's out there.
