Pretty shitty second cd they put out. Way over the top and drawn out. The first CD I enjoyed, but they have fallen off. At the Drive In should have never broken up. Be prepared to get bored about halfway through each 10 minute song unless you are doing some drugs.

Ive seen them live a few times and I agree, when they draw out the songs I do get board.

Their First LP (Deloused in the Comatorium) is awesome... no doubt. 2nd full length CD is tougher to get into.

Yep. Really cool first CD. The second one was just noise trying to come across as conceptual and artistic. Judging from ATDI concerts, I would assume The Mars Volta puts on a good concert.

i saw them open for A Perfect Circle last year and it was their live show that really got me into them.. i was blown away.

Since then its been more like Jam fests though which I don't care for.
