Seattle Was Robbed

Dear lord!! let this thread die already.....my freaking eyes are bleeding.

I can hear the whining from 1000's of miles away.

Face it. THE SEAHAGS GOT THEIR ASSES HANDED TO THEM. They're a third rate team that got lucky to make it to the Superbowl. They had their day in the sun now say goodbye.

LOL! I know, I was just trying to see who I would get a rise out of.

I do still think it's pathetic how everybody whines about how their team got fucked by this or that. It's just simply and plainly a part of the game, period. It has happened to every team since the first game ever played. People need to learn how to deal with it.

Seattle dominated the game.

The corrupt officiating clearly shook them up as the game progressed.

Pitt ran for squat.
Pitt passed for squat except for one trick play.

Seattle passed effectively and ran the ball significantly more effectively.

except seattle is not "my team"
I'm calling it objectively
I said it before
those offcials will never work another super bowl
the leaque will keep it low key
and maybe allow a selct one to offciate the big dance
working the super bowl as an official is quite an honor

some of it, yes.

except for that 75-yarder that went for a TD, yes

which resulted in 1 TD, and the 3rd and 28 where Seattle, oddly enough, forgot about the existence of Hines Ward.

Y'know, Hines Ward? The Steelers' leading receiver for the last half decade?
Perhaps you've heard of him?

If so, might want to let Holmgren and his defensive staff know about the guy, since Seattle left him wide open TWICE near the goal line, which resulted in 2 TDs.

3 big plays, 3 TDs. Can't blame the refs for that one.

if you consider 23 incompletions and 6 drops which resulted in 5 stalled drives effective, I suppose so

uh, debateable. Seattle didn't use their run very effectively, nor did they use the clock effectively.

You can blame the refs, but with few exceptions, the calls made were proper. They might not be what Seattle people, or those who don't know the game and listened to Madden rant, want to hear, but reality is reality, regardless of whether you like it or not.
