Searching for info on ENDOCRINOLOGY. Please help!

Freak Show

I've given some serious thought about going back to school to become an endocrinologist. I've done several searches on the web but haven't found the important things I need. I.E. what schools offer it, what kind of pre-reqs, etc. I've only found a little about what they do and it sounds interesting. Schools I've looked into don't have a specific program titled ENDOCRINOLOGY. All I find is internal medicine and the like. Is that what I need? Is there no degree specifically for endocrinology? I'm lost. If anyone knows of schools with specific programs or sites I need to check out, I'd appreciate it.

Some schools combine endocrinology with biochemistry, such as University of Buffalo, if I'm not mistaken. There are any number of degree programs that have both available, however, for some of them like the University of South Carolina program, it is an M.D., Ph.D. program, and so say goodbye to the next 7 years of your social life.

Basically, start your seach combining endocrinology and biochemistry and see if that brings anything up.

Thanks for the help so far. Shrelby, I'll check that site. It sounds familiar, I think I've been there before. This is really important to me so I'm gonna keep BURPING it.:D
