Search Engine Submission Software?

Does anyone know of a good program, easy to find and cheap, that does search engine submission?

I saw Web Add, but don't know if you can run the software yourself (ie; do multiple sites and not just one).

Don't waste your time with search engine submission. My boss paid these "SubmitIt" people like $400 to submit our site to "400" search engines (probably 2 of which people have actually heard of and use). Results simply did not exist. Big time waste of money and time.

If you want to spread the word about your website, I recommend:

1) Link exchanges on similar sites.
2) Posting messages on message boards of similar sites.
3) Paying for cheap advertising on Google or some other site that offers paid advertising.

Better results and less headaches.

I wouldn't be using it. I know a few people that want that done and figured it's much faster than doing it by hand.

I'm getting paid for it, so I figured I'd try and find some software that does it for me

Ah, then search engine submission is the way to go if you don't care about the results. =) If they are paying you well, then you might want to use a small portion of that pay to pay for the submission service on www.bcentral.com.
