Yeah, the funny thing is I gained 14lbs from the first pic to the second but it barely looked like I gained anything. Since I'm training primarily for strength I'm not worried, as for diet I am getting over 5K/day easy most days I break 6 and sometimes even 7, my protein intake is at least 300g/day and sometimes up to 400g's, so I shoudn't have any issues as there as well. Basically I just need to stick to my routine and let my body do it's work, should be a fun ride.

holy shit. are you serious? how much do you weigh and you get sometimes 7000 calories? you must be a serious hard gainer since you're not fat already lol

It's only been two months and there is an actual difference. Add up all those slight differences every two months.. and six months u have some serious change and in a year major change in two years a whole new you.

Slow and steady wins the race. You are doing good. You're not there yet, but you ARE on your way.

Congratulations on a dedicated effort and some visible success.

Yeah two months sounds like a long time but in the weight lifting world it really isnt. So 15 lbs in two months is great. Keep it up!

Yeah, I'm dying to go to the gym tomorrow... really love working out and really surprised it took me so long to start doing something I've wanted to do since I was 13.

Anyways I weighted 182lbs in the first pic and 196lbs in the second.

Right now I'm 199lbs, and it's been 13 days since the last pic.

Since my waist isn't any bigger since I started I figure it must be muscle, water, glucose and fat in other areas, although I don't know where.

And yes I'm addicted to lifting now, I am on a clean bulk and I'm not going to cut at all until I hit at least 230... progress is coming along nicely, I know I just need to keep at it.

keep up the good work man! I always love reading rippetoe inspired logs.

you mention that you're on a clean bulk though? Do you drink milk at all? Because I gained 30 lbs on the 3x5 in the first 3 months just by drinking a crap load of whole milk. Sure, I don't look cut or anything...but I'm nowhere near fat and it was so easy to bring up the weights.

Lots of milk, usually at least half a gallon a day.

k good! I just thought I would mention it. I really can't stress enough to people who are trying to gain weight that milk is KEY!
