Marriage has been around since the dawn of civilization. It was a way for powerful families to maintain their power and also as a means for women to have economic survival as they had no other means. It was a way for clans to join and maintain their strength and numbers. Women were nothing more than chattle but were *necessary* as they were the only ones that could propogate the species. Lucky for us that we had *some use*. Back then, the men really didn't give a rat's ass if their wife had a hard body or perky tits after she birthed a child. They were more concerned that she gave him many healthy children and actually survived the birth as so many women perished during the birthing process.

Thank goodness we are more civilized today, eh.... or are we?
