i used to have a Scorpions album, on cassette! from 81 or so. their big hit at the time was Theres Noone Like You.

dude... no one writes melodies like we had in teh 80's anymore. I'm working on an 80's ballad rock / deathmetal hybrid project right now... it's hard to keep the vision when putting it together. but somewhere there is serious potential.

i love 80s music too. maybe because i was pretty young then and music is so important to you at that age,

scorpions never got too huge but they had a nice run. they were never great of a band in retrospect. their music has not aged well, like a lot of 80s metal.
