SCARY! - According to a poll on this board - most of you guys are under 25!

No offense to some of you under 25ers, but I am not sure if I want to take advice from someone that is not old enough to realize that life does not revolve around a car they are "fixing up". I know that a few of the have their head screwed on correctly. But I am sure the VAST majority don't know their ass from a hole in the ground.

I want to make sure that some of you newbies really do your homework- before you try a cycle that was compiled by someone that has never seen AS much less used it themselves. Always check with the mods and the "experienced" users. I myself am 33 years old. I do not claim to know everything. But I do know that most guys under 25 are still lost and without direction. They have no clue on thier goals and what they plan to do with their lives.

Please note this is not to all under 25ers. @ the 23 I was making really good money, had/have a great career & had/have plans for myself. If you are "sure" then help others with your posts. If you are punk that has nothing better to do than read other people's posts and take credit for them with some minor adjustments. I suggest you take a long look at your life.

Sadly 40 year old Realgains would have to agree with you but we must emphasize that there are quite a few under 25 that are mature and experienced in life and with gear to a good degree.......yet the others have a way to go still.

Thats one reason Newbies should to listen to older guys like Ulter, age 45, Huck, age 33 or 34 and Quadsweep age 33....also bro's like Ironmaster who I believe is 53 ...I missed many by the way.

Expect some flames from this one bro..........that would prove your point too though.

Yeah it sure does seem that there is a lot of younger guys on here. I'll be 29 soon & didn't even start lifting (on a serious/consistant basis) till I was nearly 25. Then waited almost 3yrs of hard training and getting my diet on track before I even concidered AS. I think that in younger people patience is not an option. I have been guilty of when I want something, I want it right now but, I am willing to wait longer if it means something better in the long run. There are a lot of guys under 23 who have done more gear and higher doses than I've ever or will ever concider doing. More is not always better.

I think its good there are a lot of younger guys here and I beleive there are a couple reasons why. Many older people (in general mind you) are not very computer literate. The younger generation is more involved with computers. Also, I think it shows incentive that the younger bro's are here and want to learn and do things right. As for who to listen to, you listen to everyone, but make your own educated decision not solely on what you read here but by using that as a starting point for futher research. Im no spring chicken (im 34) but I dont think age is as big a factor as many may think. Its all about determination and intelleigence and desire to learn. We have some smart youn guys here and some really smart old guys, its all about doing your own homework.

Whew, I just turned 26 so I don't guess I fall into the category you're referring.:)

I believe that people over AND under 25 have info that they can contribute. Each person needs to give help/advice ONLY on things they are certain of or have experienced. This is a potentially dangerous "game" we play, and if the wrong advice is given, it could seriously mess someone up. So to everybody, think before you give advice out!

Well, fuck all of you since I'm the only one to respond so far who is under 25. My mom still wipes my ass in fact. That immature enough for you?
Seriously though, this board is a great opportunity for some of us younger guys to hear from you older guys who have been around longer and can knock some sense into us sometimes. Think about it, if it were just a bunch of us babies on this board, we'd all be taking 2g of test/week all year round.
Stil though, that doesn't mean we don't know what we're talking about and it also doesn't mean that just because you're in your thirties you know all about AS. Many guys don't even start until they are in their thirties. I don't lie about anything and try never to offer advice on something I have not tried myself. Now, I have to go cause Sesame Street is on and that damn Big Bird is just too much fun.

Sorry Im late Nathan.;)

I am also under 25, and as Nathan said this board is a very valuable resource to us kiddies. Seriously though, I know what you mean when you were discussing kids giving bogus advice, etc, but most of us that are under 25 give advice from what little experience we have so far. Hence the reason why the majority of my posts are on threads that revolve around a handful of topics then I know of first hand (fina, test, eq, dbol, DNP, bulking, clen, cutting, etc)

If there is a questions that concernes a compound I do not know all about, I refrain from posting, or simply state what the general consensus is while making sure to explain that I am not 100% sure, and that the person should ask someone more knowledgable.

I have noticed from my board also that a good amount of people on these boards are in high school or just out of high school and a good amount of others are college kids!

I don't like high schoolers coming on these boards but I also do! I have learned that most of them no matter how many times you tell them roids arren't good for them at there age will not listen and keep asking until someone tells them what they want to hear! So if they are gonna take them wether they are 16 or 60 I am glad they are here learning!

I am with Almighty on this one. I try to refrain from posting about topics I have no idea about. It does scare me that we have high school kids giving advice on these boards. They shouldn't even be considering gear themselves, much less giving advice to others. I am 25 and still consider myself a novice when it comes to all aspects of bodybuilding. I just urge all of us to be careful when it comes to posting advice and reading posted advice on this board. A few guys are very reputable and have earned a lot of our respect. I try to get the advice of the experienced, and try to remember that older does not necessarily mean more experienced.

The only thing you are doing is showing your own stupidity by stereotyping everyone under 25. I am under 25 and doing quite well thank you. I have a son and own my own business, which I do quite well at. Just because we are young does not mean that we can't have extensive knoledge about the use of AS.

Supertech69: according to your post I understand that you have how many years under your belt? 4? Did you reach your natural platue before you starting juicing?

I mean this only in a polite way, just saying you should not group all the newbies into an under 25 age cat.

I have to agree with Robsatx only because I was once 20 something. At the ripe age of 43 now, I know I knew Jack Shit back then and was arrogant enough to deny it.

There's no replacement for experience (life experience) and personal experience. With that said, I'm sure there's quite a few 20 somethings that could blow my socks off with their knowledge of good gear and cycles, on the flip side, I doubt seriously they could match my chem background or understand the physiology of how and why it all interacts.

I've made a hobby of it and as I do with all my hobbies, I become an authority. Why? For my own personal safety, the last thing I want to do is cook myself with DNP, have a heart attack from a gear OD, or bust a pin in a vein with a stupid move.

With all that said, there is always (read that again) exceptions to every rule, but I for one, welcome the 20 somethings, their experiences and knowledge and more importantly, their thirst for knowledge to learn.

Everyone's opinion is welcome here, and we all know when to call BS. So keep 'em coming!

I would like to consider myself one of the under 25ers that have my head screwed on...I'm in school, work in the field that I want to have a career in, will have a full time gig waiting for me at the place i'm at now the day i graduate...and like anything else I get into, I like to know as much about it as possible- AS are nothing different.

This board has been a GREAT source of info for me and i'm sure countless others..

My life kind of does revolve around the car that I am fixing up. But I do have some good info about gear!

If you read the entire post, you will see that I did not group the entire group. Apparently you do not know how to read the entire post.
P.S. What does having a kid and having a business have to do with your AS experience? Apparently you have a "need a dad" complex. Therefore, I am very proud of you son. Good job on your son and business.
P.S. Anyone can be DAD - but my kids call me "daddy". Don't forget in your quest for success to take care of your kids.

All I'd like to say is that I am way under 25, being still in H.S. But many hours spent on the net, the boards, in the gym, talking to vets have helped me behond anything I could have imagined. To have someone that has much more important things to do, to answer my questions or just throw some advice my way is great. I hope to be a respectable member on these boards one of these days and to take everything I have learned from all of the really great bro's on this board and to pass it on to another youngin such as myself so he doesn't rush into anything and fuck himself up. Yes I have experienced the benefits of AS at the tender age of way under 25 but it took me a really long time to make my decision, hell it took me months to decide to even take creatine. Gladly with the help of everyone on the boards I took very very small doses and had some great results while still being safe. Also yes I know some of these other H.S. kids can really fuck up my reputation as a younger bro with their posts "I'm gonna juice no matter what, either help me or I'll Die!" This is fuckin B.S. and people wonder why juice has such a bad rep, because of fuck heads like that, that go around sharing they juice to their team and shit. I just thought I'd share and hope everyone maybe will have a lil more respect for the under 25'ers. Stay safe everyone and lift hard, thanks again.
